I don't like the black album at all. It’s the prelude to the end of Metallica as I understand them and has one of the worst productions I’ve ever heard. They’re a thousand miles away from Kill 'Em All.

Tom Waits is like a miniature Captain Beefheart in his 80s works. My favorite remains Frank's Wild Years. Anyway, I love everything about the most famous resident of Pomona.

I don't know much about Allen, but from what I've seen, Crimes and Misdemeanors is definitely the best. Really outstanding. The scene in the documentary about the producer (or was it a director?) is beautiful.

I love some of Moretti's films (Ecce Bombo above all). I don't agree that The Caiman is bad: I find it one of the best, with a stunning ending. However, it was released at the wrong time because Silvio couldn't wait for it. The usual story about the communists "infiltrated in every field of society, according to a criminal plan aimed at establishing a dictatorship blah, blah, blah, blah." Moretti is a character that I also find quite annoying, with his intellectual demeanor, but I have shared some of his stances. However, I didn't like The Son's Room too much; I prefer him in other works.
