There's something about this album that attracts me more than all the others in the Deep studio collection. Maybe it's due to the greater variety of songs (Fools and Anyone's Daughter are among my favorites) or because when I listen to In Rock, I think how a thousand times better the live versions of those songs are (well, all of them performed live). The fact is, this is the only Deep album I still listen to besides Made in Japan.

If I had to make a list of 5 essential albums to understand psychedelia, this one would definitely be on it. The sound of the electric jug... I can only imagine the effect it might have under the influence of acid.

@Hardrock92: no, you read it wrong. I didn't say that the lyrics represent the life of a rockstar well, but that they talk about sex. as for Sweet Emotion: yes, I actually misinterpreted when I said it's different from the others, but compared to Walk This Way, that lyrics is a little prayer.
