Dangerous, dear Steve, in my opinion, to define art in 5 words. It’s such a vague and subjective concept that it’s easy to fall into excessive simplifications. Anyway, it wasn’t easy to write a review of a work like this, and you managed to make it even enjoyable. As for the album, well, never listened to it, and I don’t think I ever will; pointless to even rate something like this, since we’re outside the box: it’s obvious that it doesn’t "count" to use the usual yardstick. Cheers.

Turkish, your comment number 20 is one of the most beautiful things I've read on this site. You remind me of that friend of mine, who, as soon as the movie ended, said: "But why did the bear spend half an hour watching it instead of eating it?" Brilliant, both of you.

To become a symbol, sometimes it takes much less than an album, sherman. I stand by my opinion, and I fear I'm not the only one who thinks so.

The best is definitely coming in 1991 with Angel Dust, one of the iconic albums of the '90s. Fantastic FNM.

4 stars, only because otherwise it would take 25 for other records... Impressive Prince, you’re also great.
