I recommend, for those who may not be familiar with it, "The Ring of King Solomon" by Konrad Lorenz. Simply splendid.
Elio Veltri Marco Travaglio L'Odore Dei Soldi
Voto:
Travaglio is a real journalist, one who reports facts as they are, without the intention of brainwashing people, but rather with the sole purpose of providing them with real and objective facts. It’s no coincidence that he was a student of the great Montanelli, considered one of the best journalists in Italian history. It’s a shame, though, that sometimes he plays into the hands of his opponents: he too shouts and interrupts, and in my opinion, he makes a mistake because by doing so he lowers himself to their level and risks becoming a target for them. Nevertheless, great Travaglio and his way of working. I truly hope he continues to do his job in such a professional and, also, brilliant manner.

The most beloved bloodthirsty murderer of all time. And then communism, guys... come on, communism, what are we talking about? How can we possibly sanctify such a military fanatic of communism? I am truly astounded.

What can I say, Melo, this time I just couldn't resist... Anyway, I'm definitely on Debaser, it's just that I limit myself to reading and taking notes. I no longer have the energy of the good old days, when I would indulge in endless, and often pointless, debates!

A truly unbearable character. I met him since I frequented his cinema for a while: a person so full of himself, pompous, and arrogant, like no one I had ever encountered before. Ever since I had a little clash with him, I avoid him scrupulously: I gladly do without his haughtiness.
Michael Mann L'Ultimo Dei Mohicani

The soundtrack is by far the most beautiful thing, and I would say it's the only reason that pushes me to give the film a passing grade. For the rest, simply mediocre.
Terry George Hotel Rwanda

The blue helmets have little or no blame for what happened: the soldiers, commanded by the Canadian General Romeo Dallaire, were few, poorly equipped, mostly inexperienced, and faced with an excessively restrictive mandate that prevented them from using force except in self-defense (therefore not to operate in aid of the poor Rwandans). The blame for what occurred lies with the UN leadership, and consequently with the major Western powers, which did not want to lift a finger or spend a single dollar to stop the massacres.

Good job, I haven't seen the film, but I'm quite informed about the history of Rwanda. The genocide of 1994 is an event that is always talked about too little, and when it is, the wrong approach is often taken. It was something unprecedented, unheard of; even more absurd, however, was the indifference with which we, the Westerners, the "evolved," not only allowed it to happen but also facilitated such a massacre. I'm giving you a 4 only because, given the sensitivity of the topic, I would have preferred a somewhat less vulgar vocabulary, but the substance is definitely there.
