Ah, just to avoid controversies: I don't mind the Muse, but - if I'm not mistaken - they've made 3 studio albums plus a few live ones. Frank has made over 60... damn, there's quite a difference! And then, Frank is Frank.

In my opinion, it largely depends on the listener's needs. In a bitter interview (which can be read in full at All About Jazz Frank said that his audience is divided into four categories: "those who like music because the lyrics are fun, those who love guitar solos, those who enjoy things more akin to rock, and those who like strange stuff." I think Sheik is an excellent compromise because it satisfies all four of these needs; I wanted to follow the choice of ..caz.., meaning trying to bridge the unacceptable gap on Debaser – where there are 15 reviews of Muse and, with mine, two of Zappa – by proposing one of his most accessible albums. Anyway, I believe that you, being a good metalhead, would quite enjoy Sheik. I also recommend the box set with the trilogy of "Shut up 'n' play your guitar," which is currently at a low price.

Oh, I feel the same way, darling... you're right, I should have just hopped onto Debaser to get us sorted out. I sprinkle ash on my head while waiting for the next opportunity!

I understand you, Barbie, because I just saw it myself at the Lugano Jazz Festival (yes, I ventured into Swiss territory)... I was so excited that I looked like a teenager at her favorite boyband's concert!

I left the first sentence halfway through: I wanted to mention the reactionary ire of the "allmusicthirdwavepunkfrevival-post -insurrectionists."

well, I adhere to the official version... after all, it's better not to embrace overly bold theses, as one risks provoking the reactionary wrath of others. I therefore calmly acknowledge the following historical truths:
- the kurto has been taken out
- grunge doesn't exist (forrest, according to neoplatonic doctrine, neither do we really exist, but we are merely the reflection of the infinite Self... but for fuck's sake: let me delude myself that there was a reason why I wore those shitty flannel shirts!)
- good charlotte are sluggish rock deities
