Great book, enlightening I would say; it should be recommended to all the militant communist professors who, to put it mildly, do not give much importance to the crimes of communism in the history of the 20th century. The objective of the book aligns with what I have always thought: communism (and communists) have a debt to pay to history, but above all, it cannot be asserted that communism was better than fascism.
