I just wanted to say that it seems quite pointless to make a list of those who would be better, just because they remained in the underground... without acknowledging the undeniable and obvious value of the Nirvana... regardless of the technical aspect... because come on, the bands you've mentioned were certainly not virtuosos or Mozarts born with the instrument in hand.

Well, this is a personal matter, just as the meaning I attribute to Nirvana is personal. But objectively, I'm not the one saying it; Nirvana changed the history of rock, and I'm sorry, but if you really want to change things, alternative-ism is not very helpful. For me, Nirvana is more than justified.
