One of the masterpieces of 90s rock, without a doubt. There isn't a single note or word of dulli placed randomly. Impressive.

Francis, you certainly write well and have made some great reviews, like the one on Ride. Unfortunately, you are not as effective when you try to tear down other types of music, as happened with your reviews of Jeff Buckley or the Doors, or your comments on grunge: your arguments—or rather provocations—have missed the mark, especially since they are accompanied by a mix of arrogance and rudeness.

Puntinicaz, think of the misadventures of Torres and your friend Pisanu, who is better... go Cagliari!

"Most of my reviews have an extremely high average rating, read illiterates... anyone who can write on this site has not hesitated to praise me for my writing style, there are pages and pages that prove it" ....... Let's take a look at a review from casaO. That of the Lemonheads "It received 14 votes, achieving an average of 2.64"; very high, isn't it? Let's read some comments "the usual sterile provocations from Francis, but they no longer strike, you've broken." "Obviously the shot at grunge as boring and heavy is the usual boring and heavy provocation that you could have spared us, Fran." And these are certainly not insults, you are a failure, frensis.

"but at least I'm not dicking around with anyone"...."there will be plenty of wankers who, as usual, won’t know what I’m actually talking about but won’t hesitate to shower me with their expected barrage of bullshit"..."if you take away Manzarek's psychedelic organ face-from-the-ass"....Sure, I listen to dumb bands and go get fucked... But fuck you too, assholes!" Sure, Francis: these are truly reflections, interpretations, and insightful analyses. Maybe in this case you’d be more credible if you said you’re a nice guy!

"I differentiate myself from clichés and the dictates of musical journalism with viewpoints that are never trivial, with reflections, interpretations, and evocative analyses".....but you don't differentiate yourself at all. You write about English bands what various NME and similar publications have been repeating for 15 years to the point of nausea. Your comments on the artistic stature of Robbie Williams are echoed by Luzzato Fegiz as well. You're only original when you trash the Doors, certainly. It's a shame you do it without the slightest understanding of the subject.

Well, this review of mine is definitely better than yours about the Doors: at least I brought in authoritative opinions like that of Nick Cave – which you conveniently avoided countering – while you focused on Morrison’s superficial aspects (from the bird on stage to the silly quotes in the diaries) without writing anything concrete, so much so that everyone mocked you. You’re a clown, you’re even a midget if you’re 163cm tall – it’s quite the party. You have a face worn by a 30-year-old, claiming to be very countercultural by going to clubs and drinking. You’re just a fool.

The lyrics of Blur are really funny: quite a different thing in the English scene were Pulp or Suede, who offered significant snapshots of English life (even though I didn't fully appreciate them musically).

I agree: English bands have always enjoyed the cover of magazines like "Rumore" with their first albums, bands like Death Cab for Cutie, just to name one, only after years of hard work.

Well, discomfort, depression: you wrote a review on Belle and Sebastian - very nice by the way - titled "Symphonies for Broken Hearts".....I don't think anyone wrote to you "what a drag, these broken hearts, there's more to my life"...
