x fidia: by "the dead are all the same" I was obviously referring to the victims of genocides, wars, and various massacres, certainly not Himmler, Hitler, and the like. Kosmo is right. The Nazis exterminated Slavs, Romani, in short, a whole bunch of ethnicities.

And yet it is their systematic, cold, chilling genocide that leads people to consider the Holocaust of the Jews as more ignoble than that of the Native Americans. But that's nonsense. The dead are all the same.

Yes, discussing Hitler and trying to understand what drove him to do what he did is a thorny and risky affair. Unfortunately, people tend to simplify issues that are anything but simple. For instance, it is said not to forget. It goes to explain that countless wars in the twentieth century happened precisely because people did not forget (see the former Yugoslavia war). One day I dared to say that sometimes we also need to know how to forget (not in the case of the Holocaust, which must always be remembered), and I dared to say that we tend to remember only the Holocaust of the Jews (and the Native Americans? The Kurds? What are they, nothing?). I was called an antisemite and a revisionist. Me??? Ahahahahah. Patience.

History is full of mediocre powers that have created only chaos and massacres. General Custer is a good example, and it so happens that many of them have determined or contributed in some way to the genocide of peoples.

Unfortunately, dedoluz and mediocrities like Hitler are the ones we need to fear more. It's obvious he was a psychologically disturbed person, and this does not justify him in any way. The fact is that he had great charisma and influence over people, which was misunderstood and mistaken for above-average intelligence and genius (he wasn't an idiot, though). His closest collaborators, if we want to put it that way, were even worse than him.

I consider Rain one of the best of the scarrafoni. The shoegaze cover by Chapterhouse is beautiful too.
