What I wanted to say, dear Randolph, is whether you have the brains to form your own opinion without borrowing famous phrases from great intellectuals. We can all do that to sound impressive, don't you think? The hard part is having personal ideas and opinions. When Carmelo Bene said that pornography is art, did he also mean child pornography? Eros is deceitful and consoling: that may be true for you and Bene. And just because he said it, does that make it gospel? For me, the topic ends here, since it has nothing to do with Fellini. The fact is that women generally have a different and let's say less "visual" sexuality than men. Perhaps our excitement comes from more auditory and tactile sensations, let's say. I don't condemn pornography entirely if it's made by consenting adults, but when I think that many teenagers and children are victims of it, sorry, but I don't feel comfortable calling it art.
