Thank you, Grass, Heijra. By the way, I already had it and I enjoyed it last night after the last Live at Massey Hall 1971 by Neil Young, which I recommend to you :-)
Ps: I really liked Hejira.
Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill Vol. 1

Of course, Mopy is right. Poletti, why are you throwing mud at a director who has never denied taking inspiration from others? This film is explicitly so without stealing anything from anyone. Childishness? Absolutely! Tarantino is a big kid, but have you ever seen one of his interviews, Poletti? Just say you don't like him and that's it, but don't throw free dirt on Tarantino, who is never pathetic and always has the right irony to make something unappealing enjoyable. Please, at least spare him!

dub atmospheres, rocksteady, reggae, but also funk blend with the punk approach and naively nihilistic attitude of the girls... interesting, a bit like Sandinista by The Clash, but from what I understand, they did it first... right, Bjork??? I didn't take it as directed at me, eh! :-D

Hi fusillo, I liked the second piece, riding tiger, not so much the first one. I finished downloading Maltid and I'll let you know in the dedicated review :-)
Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill Vol. 2

I definitely prefer volume 2, more introspective and less like a comic.

bartleboom, I understand your disappointment. I went to see it with some skepticism myself, especially for vol. 1, but Tarantino had to give a twist to his cinema; he risked repeating himself. For me, he also had some great ideas, like the animated segment on O-Ren Ishii.

well done Bubi, excellent review for an excellent film that seems to have had the misfortune of being nominated for the Oscars in the same year as Titanic...
