Did the queens discover all these things in '77? A bit late, I’d say. My vote goes to Bohemian Rhapsody and a few others, not to the record in question.

Queen had reached the peak of their "baroque pomposity," understood as a celebration of choirs and complex guitar overdubs in the service of a theatricality that was often over the top, now epic and tragic. SORRY, BUT ARE YOU REVIEWING QUEEN OR ELP?
