.....At the time, terms like "decadent," "cold," "brilliant machine," "the lowest point of ELP," and similar amenities were used to define it.....I fully agree that it is NOT the lowest point of ELP, but rather the highest, alongside Trilogy, of course. However, it is a bit chilly, and you have to admit that at certain points it is indeed pompous and kitschy, as some critical detractors claim. Yet, these fools do not know, they do not understand that these are strengths rather than weaknesses.

I agree. And then the "the best" are usually the worst of a group or an artist, almost never the best. If I happen to see the tracklist of a compilation, I’m always disappointed, except for rare exceptions. Have a good weekend everyone.
