Samuel Beckett Film

Yes, I know Samuel Beckett, but "underground" was a joke because this film, sorry for my ignorance, I've never heard of it before :-)

Pretty, not that I want to pressure you, maybe you have better things to do, actually you definitely do, but... I'm eagerly awaiting your movie review :-))

Yes, it's all grotesque. You know, I need to revisit "horizons of glory," it's been too long since I've seen it. In fact, the tragedy is more palpable in that film, but I swear no other word came to mind. Perhaps I thought of the final scene, when the joker had to kill the sniper woman to end her suffering, and in other words, he did her a favor by killing her. The tragedy of war at an exponential level, I dare say. Smack ;-)

x pretty: on hyperrealism you’re right, I should have said it that way. Grotesque mmmm, I find A Clockwork Orange more grotesque for example.

And above all, how can one have the guts to give a 4 to this film and maybe a 3 to l'ultimo bacio?

I still have to hear people who claim to have "the solution" to the film, "the absolute truth" about what Kubrick wanted to tell us, as if *2001: A Space Odyssey* had a single meaning and wasn't open to multiple interpretations. And above all, I have to hear for the billionth time that it's boring and slow. Welcome to the festival of clichés and superficiality!
