I liked the previous one quite a bit, but then I lost track of them. I don't know if I'm still interested today.

Nice, but apart from 3/4 pieces, it left me with little.

It’s about time we cut the nonsense about debaser.

His previous film, Animal Kingdom, was great. I really have to see this one sooner or later; of course, it only arrived in two and a half theaters here. He still directs very well, though.
David Fincher Gone Girl
Voto:
Visually, aesthetically, and in terms of framing, it is an almost perfect film, and currently, there are few that manage to shoot with Fincher's level of clarity. It's not that he does hyper-technical things with the camera; in fact, since "The Social Network," it has become increasingly "theatrical" in that sense, but from this viewpoint, the film works. In reality, almost everything works well, except for Affleck's acting, until the last 20 minutes: the tension holds, and all the clues and answers that Fincher throws during the film come back. It’s a perfect puzzle that has no flaws and can entertain, with a couple of impeccably constructed scenes. Everything starts to decline towards the end when an attempt is made to give a sense of circularity to a story that, as it was presented at the beginning, I never would have expected to conclude in that way. But it’s not a twist; it's a final that feels forced, in my humble opinion. I also disagree with those who say that Fincher is becoming more Hollywood-like: he is seeking a personal path that leans increasingly towards minimalism in staging, with stories far from his "cult" films from 15-20 years ago, but even "Gone Girl" is by no means a studio film. Moreover, in this film, it seems to me that Fincher continues along a sort of similar "masculinism," which is, in fact, inherent in all his films. For all of this, and for those last 20 minutes that meander a bit from the previous construction, it is a film that loses something for me. My rating is between a 7.5 and an 8.

Interesting. I will try to get it.

An amazing band, too niche to be appreciated by a wider audience. They have released extraordinary epic/heavy albums. This is one of the few that I'm missing.

This is a record, the only one with Dukes that I really, really like. "Deathamphetamine" is one of the most beautiful thrash metal songs of the last 10 years. I still need to check out the latest one; I’ll try to listen to it as soon as possible.

It's already the third positive review I've read. I have to check it out.
