The critic who coined the term "Led Sabbath" is Art Black (just so you know :P). I really started to like SG from BadMotorFinger onwards, although I didn’t mind some angry tracks from Louder Than Love, or from the album in question (which, back in my teenage years, I thought was too unmelodic for my tastes) :)

Even though you would deserve a 5 for your "interpretation" of the cover :)

Ah, at this point that the average has fallen, I can vote! In my opinion, Led Zeppelin would have declined because I can’t see them doing anything else... they would have shrunk like AC/DC, playing the same riffs for 30 years. Put in very simple terms, huh... :)

"It's true, the rock as it was once is no longer, and we will never see it again;'' and thank goodness, I would add. Can you imagine how dull it would be if Led Zeppelin had churned out albums for 30 years straight? :) I would like to give the album 4 stars, but I'm afraid the other voters would lynch me for spoiling the average, so for now, I abstain :D

Here, radio zazà, the issue is different if you put it that way. There's no doubt that the Queen are commercial; otherwise, how could you explain their success with the public? And the miserable posthumous compilations? (except for the 3 canonical greatest hits, of course…). If you don't like the Queen because you believe they haven't invented anything, that's one thing; it's another to trash them for being commercial. It has absolutely nothing to do with it...

Navarf, I haven't read the whole discussion because, honestly, it was boring the hell out of me, but I agree with you on the business=easy=shit equation. There's a lot of commercial stuff that gets underrated due to preconceived notions. It's a matter of mindset... as for the rest, I won't delve into it because I haven't read a damn thing and I'm getting annoyed :)

Walter, it’s clear that you know the Queen, but let’s not get stuck on that... eventually, track by track becomes a drag... As for the album, it may be a milestone, but I prefer other stuff from Queen. Plus, for sentimental reasons, I’m more attached to the '80s phase.
