CEN-TO CEN-TO CEN-TO CEN-TO CEN-TO... what a shame, just 66. The next contestant...

You misunderstood me about the paranoia. I meant to say that I don’t get paranoid over such small things (a record). At most, I might have some doubts. In that case, before shelling out any cash, I download it first :)

So, if I happen to be paranoid, then I'm not buying it :) I can't disagree about the discussion of the 75th review of Pink Floyd; this is the flip side of the coin. However, if we really have to nitpick, it's better to spend yet another word on Pink Floyd, or a great album in general, rather than on Tatangelo (the musical Tatangelo, that is, because if we're talking about something else, it's obvious that I tell Pink Floyd to go fuck themselves :D). And if this happens, there must be a reason for it. Oh, I would prefer to avoid both things (I constantly argue against Iron Maiden on Deb 10 times a week), but if one must choose... :)

"With what kind of paranoia do you buy a record by a group native to the homeland of a Nek, a Tatangelo, or a Pupo?" For heaven's sake, are we really that homogenized? I don't think so. Debaser is proof of that. How many of those who write on this site see themselves in the 3 artists you mentioned, or would even dream of reducing all Italian music to those same 3? This isn't a "critique" of your choice of names (you could have listed 3 different ones, it wouldn't have changed a thing), but rather of the premise itself, which is rather taken for granted. Anyway, interesting point :)

Very well-crafted and refined, however I do notice a slight contradiction when you talk about "essence" in one line, and "physicality" in the next. I heard something of theirs that left me completely indifferent; I don't remember if it was from this album. Anyway, I'll listen to it because you've piqued my curiosity.

I'm thinking about it; I have one ready on Shed Seven, but nothing particularly poetic :) As for the previous Brit bands, I've reviewed Whipping Boy, My Life Story, Manic Street Preachers, and former Longpigs member Richard Hawley. Maybe something else as well, but I don't remember :)

Just to liven up the discussion a bit: who knows how many times Matt Bellamy has listened to "Worry Beads" :D

They won the best Italian act at the MTV Ema's. Just think about how messed up we are...

Nonopparole!!!!!!! Well done, with this you've outdone yourself. I agree with Kid A about the "perfect review." @trellheim: Something tells me that if Montgomery's voice bothers you, maybe Mark Greaney's voice from JJ72 bothers you too :P
