And don't you think two stars aren't enough? 4 because I still liked the review. This hand can be iron and can be feather... today it was feather...

I almost forgot a little note about the artist in question: I sincerely hope the songs are as cheesy as the character (Grande Fratello to believe!). Please, tell me it's true and I'll buy the CD original :)

I’ve tried everything, but despite a rather impressive un-reviewing resume (from a de-case-human perspective), I’ve never had the pleasure of making it into the top 10 :( Something is pushing me to make a redemptive attempt...

Aside from the two singles taken from this album, I only know Run and Signal Fire. I don't dislike them, but they haven't really convinced me enough to listen to a whole album. Maybe I'll catch up during the summer.

@Grant: I agree that Liga and Vasco will continue to fill stadiums with their music for the masses, as long as they remain active (and I believe they fill them, Vasco does 2 concerts a year...), so even though Liga has stylistically reached his limit, he will still sell records like hotcakes. It's not at all new, however, that he has only started to copy now: from what I know of Liga, he's been copying non-stop since the release of Miss Mondo (I can't remember if it was '98 or '99). The usual little songs made of 3 chords: the problem isn't the 3 chords themselves, but the fact that they are always the same (Si viene e si va, L'odore del sesso). And he continues to recycle the same progressions endlessly in his later songs; some randomly: "Le donne lo sanno," "Questa è la mia vita" (which is identical to When We Were Young by Whipping Boy), "Tutti Vogliono Viaggiare in Prima." In an interview, even Rettore said that Ligabue has now become a copy of himself. But the fans are happy... @Hetzer: I also don't see that he has copied anything from U2; perhaps he meant that U2 also does nothing but recycle, and I wouldn't disagree (just to mention one thing, it seems to me that The Edge always plays the guitar the same way).

It may be sentimental, this film, but I liked it. Plus, it's one of the first movies I watched as a kid, so you can imagine (the affection… the kind you just can't stand :D). The music is stunning. As for the review… Stipe, since they've already eaten you alive, I'll spare you the rating and the sermon; as Manliuzzo said, you need to find a middle ground: neither laying out the entire plot nor diving into flights of fancy without ever truly discussing the film. Good luck!

We we... let's not joke around. Even before Seven (in my humble opinion), there's a certain "The Silence of the Lambs," ring a bell?

Perhaps the only (modern) actor capable of being understood while performing in dialect (note, in dialect and not with a dialectal accent). I quote Poletti, Nofake, etc. A legend!

You shouldn't worry about the guitarist's words. It's well known that these are promotional bullshit artists throw out to spark interest in their album. Every time someone says "this is our best album," for some strange phenomenon, it almost always turns out to be crap. Oasis say it with every promotional launch, but they know very well that the best album they've made is What's The Story... That said, I quote los otros: ENOUGH. Realize that with all these reviews of the same album over the course of 20 days, whether you speak well or poorly of it, you are doing a disservice to the artist in question because, rather than creating expectations or interest, you're just shoving this album down everyone's throats without even having listened to it...
