I would be tempted to give the movie a 2 due to the usual emotional attachment that always tricks me... but it's really an absurd piece of nonsense. I agree with those who appreciated the cartoon (anime, manga, call it whatever you like :D). @TOMGIL: I understand you, I was crazy about Van Damme until I was 12; I remember Italia1 aired Kickboxer, Bloodsport, Double Impact, and even Hard Target (one of his earliest films, where he played the villainous Soviet in the wake of Ivan Drago) so many times... those were the good times... Today I can barely catch them on some regional TV :(

Thank you, guys! Anyway, a shout-out to the good Gigi who saved 7 people at sea yesterday! Maybe this review brought him some good luck :)
Peter Jackson Bad Taste

Uhm... it seems that it is destiny that, due to a prejudice, unchangeable even under torture and at the point of death, towards "The Lord of the Rings," I must ignore Peter Jackson's filmography for a long time to come: before reading this page, I had no idea what was being talked about, but I gradually caught on, and intuitively, I feel inclined to support Larrok's evaluative criterion, extending it to music as well: it is obvious that in a "normal" (I hate this term, so I'll quote it) list of artists, the inclusion of Gigione would imply an evaluation that also considers the negative numbers, but in a trash list, Gigione would be a solid 5 :)

...although once in a blue moon... an unintentional blasphemy that, never more than in this page, fits me perfectly.

I've never had doubts about the non-genuineness of the character, but I believe that, for better or worse, he has still played an important role, both as a faux-satanic jester (to be sanctified, paradoxically) as Sickman said, and as a scapegoat to justify the various massacres in schools carried out by some hyper-frustrated asshole. Not to mention those who in life choose to adopt a look and a "lifestyle" that reflects that of Manson (the perfectly normal Manson) in the staged fiction (poor world!). The album, however, even if I only listen to it once in a blue moon, I enjoy.

@PANAPP: But you have to admit that the death of Paris Hilton is one of the most beautiful things seen in movies in recent years. Think of the boost that actor's career would have had if that scene had led to a tragic accident... I could already imagine the newspaper headlines: "FROM MONSTER TO SAINT". :)
