I prefer this one to the previous one, and I agree with Dadosh on P. Marius.

Doing some math... so... let's see... The evening pay of a waiter generously deposited into the bank account of 3 middle-aged billionaires, who in return give you the recording of a concert for which they earned 3 times as much per person, on a cumbersome (by now) piece of plastic, when on my mp3 player that costs half as much I can fit the entire discography, lyrics included, of these 3 gentlemen and take it with me everywhere.

Considering the relativ(ism) nature of the concept of normality: but a "fake-alternative" could simply be a person with their own style, whether extravagant or ordinary? Here it seems there are only puppets like Marco Carta or authentic characters like Ian Curtis, and those in the middle (that is, those who don't seem either shamelessly manipulated or too credible for what they are) lack their own individual, artistic, and cultural autonomy, but must inevitably lean towards one extreme or the other, or they, too, are a constructed character, whether they have an inverted cross branded on their forehead or wear glasses à la Woody Allen.

In one way or another, even the reviewers (nothing personal, mind you) are an integral part of the same system, as demonstrated by these two posthumous reviews. In good faith, I should believe that both of you appreciated this album even when the singer was alive. So why not talk about it before? After all, if we engage in these "pseudo-popular-passionate" writings, it means that, deep down, the reviewed work has left a mark, whether positive or negative. It almost seems that these commemorations must obey a socially shared morality, becoming stereotyped rituals from which we all emerge, sooner or later, "good, beautiful, and magnificent people." Absolutely nothing against the poor Giovagnini, of whom I only knew the Sanremo piece.

Instead, I think the flow of movie reviews is appropriate, considering that there are only 5 on the homepage. Otherwise, it would be "exhausting" to keep up with all of them and comment on them. For albums, sometimes it just takes a couple of days of not checking in to miss out on some interesting reviews.

If I remember correctly, it was "asshole," not "fuck off." Anyway, great review of a character I admire, enjoying it in small doses though.

Instead, I saw many shades. It's the entire context that needs to be taken into account, not just Mother Aloysius's perspective caught in an Hamlet-like dilemma.
