Heila Targa! It's nice to see you again, but where have you been? I mean, telematically speaking I know where you've been, but do come and visit us more often! :)

For example, S4Doll's approach is closer to a strict review. Probably less emotional, but it is a very technical analysis (something I couldn't do since I lack the basic knowledge) that also takes into account potential social implications and the "historical" importance of the game.

Ahahahah so we are two waiting. You explained yourself well, it's just that for various reasons here we have to "review" if we want to talk about something. I agree, it’s difficult, but I tried just to "share" this piece of childhood. For now, anyway, the section is holding up quite well.

@Iside: Personally, I see this new section as an excuse for us to have fun and engage in a bit of healthy and peaceful nostalgia. There is a need for peace, and it seems that this is the only column that brings together many people who, if they only talked about music, would instead tear each other apart! :)

I have never heard of this game, yet the genre is "my kind of thing." Although I am unfamiliar with it, I feel confident in saying it wouldn't have been far-fetched to invoke Morricone for the style of the soundtrack. In fact, in "Outlaws," mentioned before S4Doll, there is a theme that is an obvious plagiarism of "L'estasi dell'oro" from Il Buono, Il Brutto e Il Cattivo.

@S4Doll: Wow! So I'm not the only one who thinks that part of a Doom theme was a bit of a rip-off of the riff from Master Of Puppets :)

The psychophysiological trauma, on the other hand, is not forgotten: some levels literally made me crap myself back in the days when I was 11-12 years old!

Well, I didn't understand a thing about the technical part, but that's my fault since I have few and prehistoric knowledge about it, which, by the way, has also sunk into oblivion :)

Finally! I'm the first! PS: since we're on the subject, does this John Romero have anything to do with the more famous George A.?

@Gabris87: Get ready to slap me, I look terribly like the guy in the photo (never seen "in person," I had never associated the catchphrase with a face), glasses included :) Which are not nerdy at all. Those that the sensual aiace refers to are the classic bottle-bottom glasses, successfully worn by Woody Allen, the guy in an old Sambuca Molinari commercial, and my grandmother.
