Personally, I find commenting on a review a pastime and therefore, if you wish, a "waste of time" compared to more important matters; however, I do not consider dialogue a waste of time. If you know what DIA-LOGO means, then you should also understand the necessity of interaction between two people. If I say that to appreciate music, one must look at both the artistic and the technical side, and you repeatedly tell me that for you Fripp is overrated because he is "saporifero," it’s evident that you haven't yet taken a step toward me. If you get offended by things like "galletto" (I don’t know how to define someone who uses "I think Fripp is overrated" because he tells me he has a discography from "a thousand and one nights"), "mr. codadipaglia" (someone states something you said and you pop up immediately... I don’t know if you know what "coda di paglia" means...), and various other things, then you are a bit too sensitive for today’s world. So... don’t play the victim too much. If you then say that I'm a person with prejudices against you and that I misinterpret your phrases, with the motto "I have the entire discography because a friend who is a fan of the group lent it to me," which pairs nicely with "if you saw my CD collection, you would faint (including all King Crimson albums, just to give you an idea)," I tell you that every person who comes from now on will notice an inconsistency in how you have expressed yourself in these last posts, not just me. Therefore, if you want to stay in your own bubble, feel free; if you want to keep talking without pulling out your entire discography (of which some is lent) just to show me what you own and not how much you think about it, then we can continue.

The unbearable stuff is the repetitive stuff, like Britney Spears singing nonsense thanks to people who before her invented a new style, racking their brains only to find themselves considered by someone with the entire discography of the group as unbearable (kudos for a discography just kept around to look good), first unknown and then not unknown (oh, are you related to Berlusconi or Moggi with all those continuous denials?). And let me inform you that Vai does the same (only he puts a bit of his own in and above all brings class): he relies on what geniuses of fusion and rock invented before him to showcase his talent and to cloud the minds of those who, to feel great, shoot nonsense at full blast.

People like you are killing my balls in the first place and my brain in the second, given that you say super-contradictory things with immeasurable arrogance. PS: what’s a person like me, Mr. Luca, since you’ve known me for a few minutes? Just stop jerking off, come on... EYE-OHW!

I agree with your last two sentences, but it's a shame they were discordant with the rest of the message: "King Crimson are of the same ilk as Faust or the 13th Floor Elevators" doesn’t match with "Vai didn't invent anything. Fripp did," "if you saw my CD collection you'd swoon (which includes all the King Crimson albums, just to give you an idea)" fits perfectly with "your music will always disgust me," and let's ignore the sentence "And stop feeling like a professor just because you listen to obscure progressive bands"... I mean, if KC are an unknown prog band, what the hell is known? But anyway, I’ll stop letting you keep hurting yourself, since I think I've figured out what kind of person you are. You're not a rooster; you don't always need to have the last word, you care about other people's opinions, and you're always ready for dialogue. Go ahead, you make me laugh.

So, first of all, take a deep breath and don’t act too cocky. [...] If you’re good now, keep reading the message. If you have the complete discography of KC and still haven’t grasped the profound musical innovations in composition (not in the way of playing the guitar) and how influential the King Crimson of the king (because the leader is him and has always been him) Robert Fripp have been in the history of music... then I suggest you give it a solid review. TWACK!

Hey, hey, Mr. strawtail. Here are the exact words: "Robert Fripp is overrated, he's not even a nail on Vai. Boring melodies, anonymous harmonies, zero counterpoint, terrible timbre."

Second thing (this is more of a rant) I would prefer never to hear crap like "Fripp is overrated" again, otherwise it means pure ignorance (and ignorance is not subject to opinions; you just need to educate yourself). I hope he is not evaluated solely based on the fact that he played for a year at G3 alongside Vai and Satriani, otherwise it really gets to me... POW!

I don't know the album, and I won't comment on the review because I don't have the chance to compare it to the album, but I became curious reading the comments, which are rather interesting. I notice that there hasn't been a real resolution, but only a calm on the waters, and I'm partly sorry about that. Therefore, I would like to share my impression (since the topic that came up here has been mentioned multiple times in other reviews, such as those on Dream Theater), which is: technique and art are not opposites, but are intertwined. In the musical realm, one cannot say there is no technique because to play an instrument, one must inevitably have their own style, while regarding artistic expression, one cannot say there is no art in a piece because every person experiences their own emotions, and when they perform, they do so based on those emotions. So, there can be cases of great or poor "class" and great or poor "expression," but just because someone is super technical doesn’t mean they are expressive, and just because someone is hyper-artistic doesn’t mean they can create "cool stuff." The substantial difference between the two is that technique can be objectively evaluated, while the latter is subject to opinions, interpretations, and other subjective elements. We are not here to evaluate an album or an artist like scientists; we are simply trying to express our own impression so that a person can draw a conclusion considering our opinion. At least, that’s how I see it...

Look, a TWACK after another... better to give the rating and not waste too many words on how many Twacks you've said, one above all "a niche album"... but f***... CRASH!!!
