Blind Guardian A Twist In The Myth

completely agree with you Dreamwarrior... I just shared a little story that seems to be true (and very funny)... can you picture Jackson kicking Hansi... that would be an epic scene... anyway dream... metalheads have definitely appreciated this work (so far)... an example of how most metalheads are not (today) so narrow-minded and closed off in their convictions of loyalty to the (metal) flag...

Oh you... incomprehensible reviewer... I read and reread your review... even if a bit forced in some parts, I like it... congratulations... well done... I’ve listened to the album very little and promised myself that I will take it seriously into consideration... if I have the time... affectionate regards...

It was the year 1997 and the Bards, after hearing various news about Peter Jackson's imminent plans for a film based on The Lord of the Rings, decided to pack their bags and embark on an epic journey to the vast lands where the director was developing his secret project... to convince Jackson to hire them for the film's soundtrack, the bards decided to play non-stop for 2 weeks in front of the studios where every detail was being decided... the result: legend has it that Peter Jackson had them forcibly removed because he was annoyed by all that "noise," and the disheartened Bards returned to their home in Crucklandia and recorded, with the material played during those two weeks, Nightfall in the Middle Earth... if this isn’t fixation on something, what is?

bisius... I suggest you write a review of The Number Of The Beast by Maiden or Master of Puppets by Metallica... now those are truly unique... damn... read carefully what’s written on the DeScrivila page...

So... let's say I haven't listened to this yet but I will as soon as I have the money to do so... I still consider ANATO an excellent album... really... not on the same level as NITMH but we're almost there... truly unparalleled in many melodic solutions and very original in their blending of various influences... in short... I'm now used to reading critiques of the BG but I'm also accustomed to deriving great satisfaction from their works... we'll see...
