for zion and lovers of "sound terrorism": have you ever heard anything from Christophe de Babalon (d'n'b way before Venetian Snares) or the Bologna scene of AAA (furious drill'n'bass)?

p.s. excellent choice of album to review, though.

Damn, SF, what a struggle. Between the lines of your Esperanto, it seemed to me that you liked the album; I didn't like it much. "Gunman" is great, but the rest felt like a breakbeat with somewhat rigid and monotone electro flavors. Over time, the tracks made me suffer a bit because they never really "turn." I don't think I explained myself well, but I have the impression that the search for the perfect beat will still be a long way off for these vex'd.

Public Enemy It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back
Voto:
decent review, despite a few blunders (like saying Def Jam was born with Public Enemy). the album is immense, probably the best by PE. there are absolutely historic tracks like bring the noise, don't believe the hype, black steel. among the most important albums ever, in my opinion.

And the voice? Where is the voice? Damn, if these are the best rap releases of recent times, then I'll never stop spinning the Schoolly D records...
