Well, I must also say that for a long time a poster of hers filled the space behind my cook stove in one of my old houses, so, in short, she is (was) an idol of the youth. I find "Get in the Van" a very nice photographic diary of the experience with the Black Flag. If you find it, grab it. It was released by the publisher of Henry himself, la 2-13-61 (his birth date...)

Michael Franti, yes, I agree. Better the disposable than Spearhead, but even better Spare Ass Annie with lyrics by William Burroughs (there's a review here too). Stereotypes? I don’t think so. Every ā€œformā€ of expression is nothing but sedimented content, and if the sedimented content collides with the explicit content, a fracture is created that only a huge amount of talent can fill. And in these, I don’t see it.

I met Rollins at a kind of reading of one of his books (it was actually the Crossing Border Festival). I found him absolutely unpleasant, excessively vain - which is pretty obvious - arrogant and rude. Moreover, he is barely a meter sixty tall, which isn't a fault, mind you, but he acts all "big" and in the end, he's just a human fart.

That doesn't change the fact that Odradek remains one of my favorite reviewers, even though I see him more at ease with the music of the pale faces...

oh my god! I don't know this ciddì but their older stuff was distinguished by laziness. in general, the entire native tongues movement - which they connect to more for musical affinity than anything else - has always given me genital hypertrophy. Taking the anger out of hip hop is like making Farinelli sing Motorhead songs...

I don't understand you. Marinetti did it in the early twentieth century and he was a genius. William Burroughs did it in the sixties and he’s a legend. Now this redotcillipepa does it and everyone is against him, I don't understand you. I'm talking about parolibere.

The point is that society disempowers the individual and takes away every opportunity to directly impact reality through a system of delegations of which voting is just one facet. If you think that we aren’t even free to take our own lives or to get hooked on drugs... but the topic is too broad.

Just imagine that I can't stand them... in fact, I didn't understand what you meant, tabba. @pene, I would stick to the musical aspect; otherwise, the discussion gets too long and complicated.
