Sales are not an acceptable parameter. The parameters are different. Originality > they have zero. Innovation > zero. Technique > very little. Musical culture > excluding what’s necessary to plagiarize other bands, zero. The only thing they have is a romantic, overly sentimental melancholic appeal that evokes clever little tears. They are an overrated band. There is much, much better out there. Essentially, they suck.

I completely understand your reasoning; it’s not twisted at all. The fact remains, however, that Queen sucks. The argument of "everything is relative" cannot be applied to everything, otherwise, we end up losing sight of what has value and what does not. Queen, for example, has no value. And do you know why? Because they suck.
