Oh yes, pixel, in the seventies nobody played glam, you really are an expert.

Percy, go back to your experimentation and get it done, come on, you'll look better that way.

Anyway, I would really say let's end it here. I won't listen to Queen, and you will keep doing it. Amen. Of course, if instead of reviewing your beloved band again, you threw yourselves into something different...

They took new and "difficult" ideas and made them old and trivial. Is this innovation?

To be honest, I listened to the old Queen stuff, not much, but a bit because years ago I had friends who listened to them. Then they grew up and moved on to other things.

You see, Pixel, you finally got there: "Queen didn’t invent anything but they managed to add to rock operetta and glam that catchiness." Exactly, they drew inspiration from groups with TRUE insights and spread the message and style to the masses, trivializing it. For me, the discourse is all here, and apparently for you as well.

What the hell do I need to argue about? Are you obsessed? In the previous messages, I told you why I think a certain way, that’s it. I’m not asking you to explain to me why "A Night at the Opera" is experimental; you told me, I acknowledge it, I smile, and that’s it. And you know, music can't be explained too much; you listen to it, interpret it, evaluate it, enjoy it. If you have a certain spectrum of references, you'll be able to make connections with other groups, trends, social realities; if you don't, you take it for what it tells you and goodnight. For me, there’s no difference between Queen and Elton John. The same ease in resorting to easy sentimentalism, the same fake radicalism in sexual identity, the same cunning and derivative musical basis. And indeed, the same blockbuster sales and chart results. It’s a tried-and-true recipe by now. The same could be said for Dire Straits, a band that not by chance has a large base of die-hard fans who bring up very similar topics to yours. Of course, the experimentation goes even beyond... it’s pure genius.

And then I almost forgot a classic saying from music criticism: "never argue with a Queen fan, people might not notice the difference."

And then you keep attributing statements to me that I haven't made. I didn't say they were born to make money; they were born for the same reasons as all the other groups, to get laid and to become famous, and who cares. I said they ARE a money-making machine, for selling, and that they've never dared to do anything. Ah, I almost forgot, aside from the unforgettable experiments of night at the opera...

Percy, I've justified myself enough. Now you've worn me out and I'm going to listen to some experimental music, you know, like Queen...
