I agree with psycho's judgment; however, I too have never listened to Oval, nor have they ever really attracted me, precisely because of the almost exclusively "mental" nature of their work (at least that's what I gathered from reading around). Perhaps I need the right stimulus to grasp their "poetic" side and approach them... who knows?

oh yeah yeah yeah... renewing oneself, changing perspective, learning to forget and to essentialize... I too try to do it sometimes even though the fear of emptiness prevents you from stripping down properly... could it be the reason why I've never "essentialized" my music collection? to force me to do it, they would truly have to torture me... whogivesafuck?

Well, what can I say? Consistency would suggest that, after my half-hearted criticism of Ikara Colt, I should dismiss this one in a similar fashion, since it seems to be some sort of revival, and hearing from the samples that the voice often sounds like Iggy Pop’s. But… let’s say that to my ear and to my tastes, it seems like the i.c. work with silver while Koizumi works with platinum, and it also seems he’s a better craftsman. Therefore, I’m looking for it… great psycho review! Do more of those, bye!
