however, the sphinx-style hair, next to the shepherd face of The Edge, really sucks...

And, anyway, if as Venditti says 'there's no sex without love', and the Christian god is love, van diemen, let's say the same thing: 'i still haven't found...' is about pussy! in a Vendittian sense...

So... I'm jumping into the fray... I agree with Grasshopper that the U2-music is often overshadowed by the U2-band, which is easy to do because they often facilitate it themselves (over-presence, opportunism - evident in recent times -, messianic overtones, etc.). The result of their own emphasis on the epic is a religious war that breaks out around them... That said, I like the album for a good half. I also find what Edoardo said to be fair; I would define it as soul under an epic-rock-ballad glaze. Then, in my opinion, the U2 have made other great stuff (bearing in mind that I left them at 'pop', 'achtung baby' is a very beautiful album - especially the sound - capable of sometimes giving me a unique sense of disorientation, 'the unforgettable fire' is a splendid piece...)

I've always wondered: does the lyrics of 'I still haven't found...' talk about someone who ultimately can't get laid? ;) oh, don't get mad now...

At first listen, I had the impression of excessive heaviness compared to 'schleep'... but in reality it's a matter of grams, and the album is really beautiful (nonsense...); what to add, the cover is gorgeous? Congratulations Hal!

Well... I have to correct myself (I saw the photo) I can do the Zoso writing for you, but for the rest, I have to check with my trusted seamstress for Carnival...
