Inculcati and happy! Take a look at the Bon Jovi posts and read the comments from 16-17 year olds Jessica and Francesco...

Well... I don’t believe that they rarely remaster 'Thriller' or the Greatest Hits of the Eagles; I don’t have the data, but I think they still sell a ton today (and the same applies to the others mentioned, I believe). If there’s more ‘fuss’ when they remaster 'Let It Be' with John Lennon’s farts in the recording studio added in, it follows that the album still sells a lot thanks to the advertising blitz and the ongoing mythologizing.

Well... I know I'm being a pain :D but I found a ranking of the best-selling albums of all time; I'll mention a few older albums with their release dates and respective positions: Eagles - their greatest hits (1 - 1976); Michael Jackson - thriller (2 - 1982); Billie Joel - greatest hits (5 - 1985); Boston - self-titled (11 - 1976); Meat Loaf - bat out of hell (27 - 1977); Whitney Houston - self-titled (31 - 1985); Bon Jovi - slippery when wet (37 - 1986)

matter of tastes, Airone! ;) Regarding the issue: many people have been buying it for many years = masterpiece, beautiful objectively... a lot of people (it was like this in the past and I have no doubt it will be in the future) really like cheese; I find it disgusting; fortunately, they haven't classified it as a mental illness yet; they even tried, when I was little, to force me to eat it (with the excuse of a crappy gift), but of course, my tastes didn't change... I might just do a concept on educational aberrations and diversity...

Let’s establish... perhaps flexibility would also serve you, given that the scornful 'Dilettanti!' seems like an accusation towards everyone who doesn't consider the album a masterpiece... I believe I have been quite flexible in re-listening to the album and admitting that almost half of it is splendid; I wouldn’t be flexible if I said 'it’s fantastic from start to finish', especially as I would be lying to myself like I did when, at 14, I read the harsh review of 'the wall' in the book Arcana on the Floyd and couldn’t accept it... not that I fully embraced the book's verdict today, but certain parts irritate me without lingering in my mind (and I should point out that I've seen the film, read the lyrics, and listened to the album many times): in short, call it a masterpiece if you want, but to me (MY sensitivity...) some parts are terrible.
