Lou Reed / John Cale Songs For Drella
Voto:
thank you turk... I needed someone to remind me to give this record a listen yes...
Necro I Need Drugs
Voto:
hands up and semi-paralyzed by now...
Maroon 5 Songs About Jane

they're all opinions! a more or less objective statement would be: 'on the cover, there is a drawing of a woman'... etc.
Jaga Jazzist What We Must
Voto:
mmm... I didn't like 'pooka' by lars hornveth either; this seems definitely better just from the samples... and anyway I want to celebrate Hal as a 'topofdalista' too! lifetime Ballon d'Or...

Objectivity is a mirage of scientific heritage: one might agree that 2+2 equals 4, but it always depends on agreeing on starting axioms...

to interject a bit of Southern dialect culture in line with the review... I didn't understand who Liquido were until I heard the sempol-obbrobrio (parapaparà...): my mother would say from the depths of her Apulian roots 'Ouzzz! che s'chiff'

Damn, last night I dreamed of Luca Sardella with long hair and a crooked cap, doing glam metal, I swear!
Oneida The Wedding
Voto:
I mean, this album is really mind-blowing... a true 'experience', a bit 'sticky', with August Morning Haze at the end like a slice of cake to help you come down from the trip.
Suzi Quatro Can the Can
Voto:
Yes, I confirm Enea, a truly wise man :) a beautiful snapshot. As for my hair, the craziest thing I ever did as a kid was to get a little punk-style ponytail that lasted two days, very flashy like a Mexican boxer... I know Suzie Quatro only as the aunt of that great girl Sherilyn Fenn (Twin Peaks, Boxing Helena,...)
Rites of Spring S/T
Voto:
Damn... I remember the Rites of Spring because my friend Toneee used to blast them at full volume in the car, and he would end the listening session by repeating a very scrappy 'YEAH' from Picciotto at the end of some track... very raw, maybe too much (I preferred the Embrace of Ian McKaye). Surely this record would make a lot of those emo kids lose their hair, huh...
