Heinrich Ignaz Franz von Biber Das 15 Rosenkranz-Sonaten.

I bet you don't even know who Biber is :D :D ...
Rondò Veneziano Masquerade

The review is not bad. But the album ruins everything. Rondò Veneziano are the precursors of Allevi, masking pop melodies with classical instrumentation. If one wants to discover the true Baroque, they should listen to and analyze pieces by Bach or other greats from the German area of that period.

Assuming that comment no. 28 is not mine... Anyway, thinking back on it, I made a bit of a mess in the review, but please be patient, it's been a while since I wrote one, so I'm feeling a bit down. Aside from that, I invite you to listen to the first two movements of this Requiem at:

Ludwig van Beethoven Concerto per Pianoforte N.5 "L'Imperatore"

Even though I believe that Mozart's concerts are unsurpassed examples, I certainly cannot deny the stunning beauty of Beethoven's Fifth Concerto, particularly with regard to the central Adagio (one of the most extraordinary things ever written by human hand!).

I've never listened to Giulini's version. However, if you could get your hands on Bernstein's recording, I'm sure it would be love at first listen ;).
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Concerti per flauto n° 1 K 313 e per flauto e arpa K 299

Excellent choice, Grass! Mozart was simply an ALIEN, for whatever instrument or instrumental group he had to write for, even the 2 reviewed concertos seem to have come out of God's mind rather than that of a human. The review is very well written, there's certainly nothing to complain about ;) . Congratulations!

Immense Wanderer! I am at a loss for words... A review bordering on the supernatural. You reminded me to expand my Mahler catalog.
