@hardrock 92: Bitches brew... I would suggest you to find a way to get it before buying it... it could be the biggest musical trauma of your life (for me, going from "Heavy weather" to that dog’s broth was...).

I don't know, maybe, but "Birth of the Cool" is actually the one (excluding "Quiet Nights") that I love the least among those I know... I understand its philological importance and historical significance, but it just doesn't resonate with me at all... I don't know, de gustibus...

Ok, I'm missing this one (I just got "Seven steps to heaven" instead) and at this point, I’ll have my connection with the outside world buy it for me (in special price, of course)... But be careful, because with the story that ā€œit’s the best album after Kind of Blueā€ you’ve made me so eager that you could end up in a bad way if that's not true... :-)

A saw. Appreciable, enjoyable, complete, very overflowing, but it’s still a saw.

Okay, okay, I’ll take this too... :-)

The best of Verdone; "Maledetto il giorno..." I recently rewatched it, and I remembered it better than it actually is.

Nice review, although at times a bit school-like... I really can't imagine "Walk this way" in an acoustic version, or "Sweet emotion"...

Great, great, great, great review and artist. Life goes on without me...

genre that's regaining popularity here on Debaser... but why can’t I ever make a decent comment???? Oh well...
Ravel Concerto For Piano And Orchestra, in G Major

Not belonging to the first category is not necessarily a sign of being a second-rate reviewer; passion and musical culture partially compensate, in my humble opinion, for the strictly musicological gaps. Anyway, nice classical review, a genre that has been regaining popularity for a while now. P.S.: the guy on the left on the cover eerily resembles my statistics professor... Bye.
