Unforgettable from beginning to end, from the scenes in the gangster's house to Mount Rushmore. Honestly, among those mentioned in da charlie Nokia and this one, I really can't say which is the most beautiful (maybe Vertigo, maybe Rebecca, I don't know), but I just can't bring myself to downgrade this one.

I just wanted to say that it's a masterpiece, it turned the crime genre inside out during tough times, and our director (who has done a ton of outstanding work) is unlikely to reach these levels again. Extraordinary ending.

A great pastime, with some nice ideas and violence galore; I still remember the scene where he walks into what used to be his home. No, definitely not in the top five.

Imperfect, but still exceptional; you're right, "It's all over now" is indeed incendiary, I can only imagine what it stirred in the listeners of that time...

I agree with kataclisma: chills-inducing, excellent, and finger-licking good, top-notch stuff, but a masterpiece I don't think...

Exceptional film, but was it really necessary to reveal the plot and the ending??? Aside from that, very effective review.
