It would have succeeded worldwide if it had been released in 1991, not in 2007. Unfortunately for them, fifteen years ago there were Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, and so on. Just listen to the "best of" Stone Temple Pilots to understand how derivative this product is. Honestly, today it can only succeed in its homeland.

Scott Stapp has always seemed like a jerk to me, with his gym-toned muscles, the crucifix tattooed on his body, and the black leather pants... (could he possibly be the nemesis of Pino Scotto?)

It's terrible. We're in 2007, we've come out unscathed from that horrible nu-metal nightmare, yet some still want to talk about it.

Good job. I'll listen to it; when I was young, I also liked Creed. However, I would rather gloss over the term post-grunge, as Wikipedia says, it doesn't really mean anything at all.

As for the eternal dilemma of original CDs, today you can spend anywhere from 7 to 10 euros on a nice album. There are used ones on eBay, sites like Sweetmusic (there's also an English site whose name I can't remember where you can find new releases for 10-12 euros and they don't even charge you for shipping). An original CD is always a collectible item. A burned CD is just a container of music. And I'm telling you this as someone who probably has about 40 gigabytes of music he’s never listened to. Absurdly, since I started downloading, I buy more CDs than before. If an album is worth it, let’s be clear, I want the original. Downloading still means transmitting information. It’s advertising. Maybe I won't spend 20 euros on a new CD, but if I like the product, I might spend 30 on a concert, 10 on a T-shirt, and if it goes well, I'll build the original discography. Perhaps "up there" they haven't understood this.

@neu! because an album like this is worth much more than the 10 euros it costs. anyway, you can find it everywhere in Italy, even on sweetmusic.biz if you want.

Absolutely amazing, but I still prefer the Chains. From the already mentioned "This is your bloody Valentine," I adore "Tiger in My Tank," one of my all-time favorite r&r tracks, even though it has little in common with Loveless!
