I have already stated my reasons and I'll repeat: I find metal to be cold music (and I'd like to see if you've ever felt a warm corpse?), devoid of passion and unnecessarily technical in the more accessible cases, simply nauseating when thematically it falls into the grotesque and when "the music" makes me long for Spector's famous Wall of Sound... among the singers, there is no distinction as for 99 percent of them either they sing in an improbable falsetto or they are filtered to evoke a suggestive effect of head in the toilet... technically, the guitarists are simply ridiculous as they don't know the word feeling, phrasing, etc., and, quoting the good Carlo Boccadoro, I would say that "just as there is an audience that loves to see acrobats jump through the ring of fire, there is one whose salivation increases in proportion to the notes played by musicians (or pseudo ones)"... so they exclusively love the kilometer-long solos devoid of any appeal or the monolithic riff that makes me curse Toni Iommi every day for starting this danse macabre... regarding rhythm, model 'let's stomp as hard as possible', I would prefer not to dwell on it, and among triple bass drums, I would say... much ado about nothing... and speaking of graves, I would say that good old Elvin Jones must be turning in his grave being at least in name associated with these butchers... pretty clear, right?
