This CD is IMPRESSIVE; calling it merely a "Nice record" is a true HERESY.

It is now expected that their masterpiece is "Dead Heart In A Dead World," but for me, that’s not the case at all. Dreaming Neon Black is, in my opinion, vastly superior, and from this CD, I’ve heard some tracks that are M O S T R U O S E (Next In Line above all).

Let’s not kid ourselves, Radiohead have great albums, with all due respect to Anathema and Doom metal in general, but a song like STREET SPIRIT can easily be comparable (when it comes to the emotions it conveys) to any song by Anathema or My Dying Bride. Listen to The Bends and Kid A, forget about the Fisher Price construction...

This album doesn't fully convince me. It contains very beautiful songs like "Narcosynthesis," "Inside Four Walls," and "Evolution 169," but the rest doesn't say much to me. I find it too easy listening and commercial; maybe that's why it's the most appreciated album by the public? Dreaming Neon Black and the songs I've heard from Politics Of Ecstasy excite me much more.
