I agree in some ways and not in others; I liked the album, in fact, I consider it the best since "Darkest Day" from 2009, staying within the scope of their latest work. They won't be able to replicate the early albums, that's the formula. However, in my opinion, the inspiration is there, and given what else is out there, that's not a small thing.

I've always preferred the later works (especially "Memoria Vetusta II - Dialogue with the Stars", even though it's completely different from this one). Blut aus Nord is still a guarantee, though.

As a lover of diametrically opposed sounds, I will simply say that I liked the first five tracks (the only ones I’ve managed to listen to so far). Therefore, I won’t give a complete judgement. She certainly has her charm, though.
