Man... Or ASTRO-man? Your Weight On The Moon
Voto:
I would say to look for all their albums up to experiment zero, I believe, so their first 3 - 4 if I'm not mistaken, I don't feel like checking the discography (but there should be destroy all astromen, Project Infinity) but those early albums, dear God, pumped out cyber surf adrenaline that I've rarely encountered in other Dionysian performances of unrestrained galactic surf and roll orgies, the M O A brought surf not just in contact with the sea but in contact with the cosmos.

Here’s this other granite block missing, we can say that this site has told what the Jesus Lizard have been. Nothing else is needed. A funeral that is not easily forgotten.
My Bloody Valentine Isn't Anything

The unattainable masterpiece, in my opinion, is Loveless; this reviewed work is a masterpiece without the praise, but this is a band that, the few times it had something to say, did so by bringing down some heavy revolutions. The less they spoke (only twice, in 1988 and 1991), the greater the grooves they left in the history of rock. The great ones are seen from this, from their ability to disappear and self-destruct upon achieving a masterpiece.
Alexander "Skip" Spence Oar

the American syd barrett, absolutely unreal, OAR is an abyssal masterpiece, applause to Lewis for bringing it back to the surface, it seems to me that no one has reviewed this crazy genius yet.

fucking masterpiece, no doubt about it, better than just for a day? yes! just a little, but yes! Despite everyone only remembering that stellar debut of this band, which is out of this world, here you can feel a more pop spirit surrounding the trance shoegaze, you can sense Eno, "alison" one of the most beautiful songs of all time.

Yes, Sanjuro, a group to be adored, getting down on all fours after every listen, I never tire of repeating it, the more I listen to this fucking stuff, the more I’m convinced that this is the best American rock band of the 90s, not to forget the grandiose acid scratches, the birthday parties of the Midwest (sometimes even better than the lizards), if you don’t have it yet, I also recommend BANG by J.L, the posthumous release that Touch & Go put out in the year of their breakup, if I remember correctly, B-sides + live classics that certainly don’t lose their ferocity since they were monstrous live as well. I wonder what possible bands could carry on their insights, a few years ago I had high hopes with Icarus Line or Breach, but the J.L will remain up there in the unassailable Olympus.
Tim Buckley Look At The Fool

You did well not to give a grade, he was no longer himself, or rather, he wasn't what he would have wanted to be, and the blame certainly wasn't his. Let's consider that in 1974 he was 26 years old and already had a legendary cult career behind him; Tim Buckley was the George Best of rock music.

an unforgivable oversight Don, I hadn't seen this one, they’re publishing them at a continuous pace that I struggle to keep up with, an excellent rediscovery, I have a poorly dubbed copy and even that has a truncated track, in my eyes Eric Avery has remained the only original member of the janes whose artistic integrity remains intact (I read years ago that he played on a Sheryl Crow or Alanis Morissette album, I can't remember now, but is this story true?) even if it were true he remains the most radical and disconnected mind and he proved it by not participating in the reunion (strays disgusts me, maybe you like this but I have to confess it repulses me, they were really baked, and as for Ezrin, let’s not even go there, as if it were necessary to produce Berlin), I really hope he joins the smashing so he can continue to play at high levels, but in the end I believe Corgan will opt for a good little soldier on a string, better if equipped with a certain "attribute," someone like Eric wouldn’t fit Corgan, they’d clash even before the tour.
Igor Fëdorovič Stravinskij La Sagra della Primavera
Voto:
The first period of Stravinsky is necessarily the one where I feel most acutely the genius of his proposal; The Firebird, The Rite of Spring, and especially Petrushka (my favorite) form a trio of masterpieces that are hardly attainable by anyone, even for him, who, with the jolt of novelty he had injected into music, had no choice but to surpass himself by grappling with the most challenging creation produced by music up to that point: Schoenberg.

the record that Aleister Crowley would have made under tantric practices in his Abbey of Thelema
