Avril Lavigne Under My Skin

If certain reviewers want to remain anonymous, there must be a reason, right?

Dear anonymous dickhead (you don't even have the courage to send comments with an authenticated nickname it seems), what you have is not freedom of expression. Just like suddenly shouting in the street is not freedom of expression. What you have is:
1) an insult to civil living
2) pure rudeness
3) a lack of respect for the reviewer (myself), who put in the effort to write the review above and has to see their work belittled by nonsensical 1-star ratings and comments fired off randomly and with a disconnected brain (assuming you have one)
4) a lack of respect for the readers, who find many useless comments among the useful ones
In conclusion, I would say that DeBaser has been too tolerant with people like you. Because people like you are the scum of the internet and the world.

the review is nice, although, in my humble opinion, too superficial for an album like this. a wonderful album, no ifs or buts.

If it's a joke, it's in very poor taste. If you’re serious, there are two alternatives: if you are between 0 and 10 years old, you are forgiven since your brain is not fully developed yet. If you are over 10, consider the possibility of tying a stone around your neck and throwing yourself into the nearest body of water.

I know my review is quite long, but in front of a work like this, it's almost a crime not to appreciate every single passage, every single moment, which, like the pieces of a puzzle, come together to create what is a small masterpiece. More than a review, I would say mine is a "listening guide" in the classical sense of the term.
The Velvet Underground Velvet Underground And Nico

I want to preface that I am not at all opposed to "multi-reviews," as reading multiple perspectives on the same album can be useful and constructive. What I dislike about this review is the rather "naive" approach to the masterpiece of the Velvet Underground, a monument of modern music that should almost be studied in school. It is an album that should be described in detail because every moment is magical in this work. It is one of the rare albums that represents a maximal fusion of music and art, and when faced with such a work, discussing the "yellow banana on a white background" (but the same tone, certainly genuine, is a bit "surprised," but not worthy of the album) is present throughout the review...
Jesse McCartney Beautiful Soul

The comparison with a certain Paul literally made my skin crawl... Moreover, what can you expect from people who have propelled talents like Hilary Duff, Destiny's Child, Britney Spears, and Ricky Martin to success? The thing that left me most astonished is that you (let me address you informally) don’t show any signs of having a poor musical culture. In that case, paradoxically, you could even be justified. But you reference Hall & Oates, Michael Jackson, and the Motown sound, highlighting a good musical culture (which is why I gave the review a passing grade). This is precisely why I wonder: what makes you waste time with people like Jesse McCartney? Is it so hard to understand that he’s a pretty face manufactured for an audience made up mostly of hot 12-year-olds just discovering the wonderful world of libido? Sure, tastes are tastes, but in music, there are also objective standards. An artist must offer something original in their music to deserve 5 stars: what does our dear little friend offer that’s original in his music, if not the same tired mix of teen-pop that has been recycled since the days of Take That? An artist must possess technical skills to deserve 5 stars: and among Jesse’s technical skills, his baby’s voice certainly doesn’t appear. An artist must evoke, during listening, the desire to broaden one's musical horizons; it should create a hunger for more music. Personally, listening to bands like Opeth led me to explore the entire progressive universe and then the dark-gothic music realm: and that’s the music that deserves recognition. The music that makes you crave more. What does Jesse McCartney inspire, if not the urge to break the CD and demand a refund? Or, in the case of hot teenage girls, to lock themselves in the bathroom and have erotic dreams about the pretty blond boy? Or to listen to "artists" like Blue or Ricky Martin? Is it that hard to understand that he’s the classic manufactured product, backed by a major label, who in a couple of years we’ll see on “Reality Shows”?
