In my opinion, the most beautiful piece for electric guitar remains "Little Wing," old and absolutely non-technical. But how incredibly beautiful it is!

I don’t think there’s anything more to say. Anyway, I will listen to Fripp very well, but you do the same with Vai, I’m sure you can appreciate him.

I know that Fripp also has a brilliant solo career. I admit that I know very little about it; however, I downloaded something and I found it utterly disgusting! I also have a live recording where he plays with David Sylvian, but I don't like it. As a solo artist, I've always preferred Tony Levin, but I repeat: I don't know him very well as a soloist; maybe he's truly brilliant as you say.

And how come you don’t like it anymore?

Well, my reviews are there! Do they seem like superficial tastes to you? I also indulge in classical, jazz, and folk music, and I am above all a musician (multi-instrumentalist)... no, I am not a superficial listener. Anyway, check out "The Seventh Sons."

I was considering both Vai and Fripp as composers! But do you want to understand or not that I couldn't care less about how they play the guitar!

Let's do this: download, buy, or steal "The Seventh Sons". It includes all the "calm" pieces by Vai. If you hate that too, then fine, but give it a try! Then let us know how it made you feel.

I like it, but I'm not crazy about it and I think it's overrated. For the record: I have all the albums by King Crimson.
