ZZ Top Degüello

A very pleasant and catchy album. "Deguello" represents the first attempt, and a fully successful one at that, to lighten their typical sound. The choice is spot on... in fact, it was necessary to change something after the (slightly) lackluster "Tejas." Back to "Deguello"... spectacular tracks like "I Thank You," "I'm Bad I'm Nationwide," "Hi-Fi Mama," and "Cheap Sunglasses." The rest is also of good quality.

Beautiful review with an introduction of mythological tone (though I'm not sure how much outsiders to the YES world can understand it... hehe!). Anyway, I fundamentally agree with you on the assessment of this album... my favorite tracks are: "Fist Of Fire," "Brother Of Mine" (the third part), and "Order Of The Universe." It's definitely a good album, to which I would give three and a half stars. However, despite the presence of Howe and Bruford, I find it inferior to the YES-branded "90125."

I only have "Two princes" (I think it's their most famous...) and it's really nice. Easy and catchy but not trivial. Maybe I'll get the rest of the album too.

In my opinion, it's the best of Kansas... an almost perfect album, elevated even further by the title track and "Incomudro/Hymn To The Atman" - a brief but effective review.

Another great review, Green! Truthful and quite sharp... in fact, the album is rather weak in many spots. However, I think the worst part is the Christmas adaptations (maybe because I’m not enthusiastic about these types of songs in any version). The new tracks are good... among the classics, the reinterpretations of "Weathercock" and "Fire At Midnight" stand out - MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Simply a must! Everything is very beautiful... even though I definitely prefer the English counterpart titled "Photos Of Ghosts."
