My favorite from Led Zeppelin... immeasurable. All exceptional tracks!

Great review! It's really a shame that many box sets containing alternative and/or unreleased material disappear from the market after a while...

Great album, without a doubt!

Oh guys, are you kidding me? "Look At Yourself" is sung by Hensley... and you can tell: just compare it to, for example, "Lady In Black" to see that it's the same voice! Moreover, by comparing the studio version with the live one, it is clear that we are dealing with two different singers. And finally... if you don't want to believe any of this, visit this link << link rotto >> (remove the spaces!) taken from the site of the greatest Italian Heepsters…

But you could have mentioned the good Manfred Mann in "July Morning"... :-)

I really enjoyed this review... you’ve really gotten into the band, haven’t you?! The album is simply wonderful! Anyway, I can also confirm that "Look At Yourself" is sung by Hensley in the studio...

I was about to overlook this review… I love your passion in describing the album. Unfortunately, I only know this band by name: the only track I've been able to find is the Pink Floyd cover "Any Colour You Like"… which, by the way, is played very well. Billy Sherwood is very technical and is a sure thing: just listen to his performance in "Owner Of A Lonely Heart" at the YES concert at the House Of Blues. The production must be very clean (and a bit boosted as well) having listened to "In The Hot Seat" by EL&P which features the same Keith Olsen in production. I really hope to get my hands on this album sooner or later!

Another great review Green, but... come on, admit it... you were a bit stingy with the rating! Joking aside, this album could easily reach 4 stars. I find it much better than "The Seventh Star" (which, despite having the legendary Glenn Hughes on vocals, doesn't excite me that much) - For me, the whole trilogy "The Eternal Idol"/"Headless Cross"/"TYR" maintains a good average level ranging from 3 and a half to 4 stars.

I barely knew her... now I'm starting to listen to her, and the more I listen, the more she convinces me. A beautiful review in its heartfelt nature... it's clear that you truly love her!!

Just heard it! Magnificent: several tracks, in fact, are well ahead of the time they were produced. Notable "Train Kept A Rollin'", extraordinary "Mr. You're A Better Man Than I"... definitely interesting the bonus tracks, among which, in my opinion, stands out the famous "Shapes Of Things"! - After listening, I give the album a 5 and fully reaffirm the 5 I gave you earlier in the review.
