I agree with Slim... "The Madcap Laughs" is a notch above this. However, it’s still a respectable album.

Great album without a doubt... the best of the Doors along with the first two. "Riders On The Storm" is a masterpiece, and the rest of the album is certainly no less!

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the historical albums of New Trolls... however, this album has definitely impressed me: it's truly a spectacle. The overture "The Knowledge" is wonderful... "Barocco'n'Roll" and "Simply Angels" are also fantastic. The softer moments like "Dance With The Rain" and the title track are excellent as well. Overall, it's an album deserving of a 10 with honors!

The album is, all in all, quite good... there are some nice tracks mixed in with a few that aren't very successful. I agree that "Duke" is much better.
