Simple Minds Real Life

I may have been overly generous in my previous comment. I would say that the right rating is 3 stars and no more, considering both the masterpieces of the past and their newfound inspiration today.

It's an album that I have re-evaluated a lot over time... for example, in the comment I left in the review of "Cry," I called it 'uninspired.' Listening to it again now, I see it as a valid attempt at renewal, with moments of great quality ("War Babies" and the classy instrumental "Androgyny" just to name a couple). Together with the subsequent and already mentioned "Cry," this album marks the definitive rebirth of the Simple Minds after almost an entire forgotten decade. - Great review... talking about the Minds is always a good and right thing (even though I disagree with your opinion on "Street Fighting Years"). I continue to be a fan of theirs, simply limiting myself to not listening to those two or three albums that don't excite me, given that they have come back in great form. What do you think of the just-released "Graffiti Soul"? - PS: welcome to DeBaser!

What low-level humor... no offense, but it seems like you have a bit of "Brain Damage" in your head!

@The Spirit: So I can tell you that I have all three versions of "Blizzard..." released on CD... the original print (purchased in the early '90s box set "Bark At The Moon/Blizzard Of Ozz"), the 1995 reissue, and the latest one from 2002 (the last two, however, downloaded). So the difference between the original print and the '95 remaster lies solely in the much higher volume and better audio quality of the latter... while in the 2002 edition, the re-recording is clearly noticeable: where Bordin's drumming is more or less similar to Kerslake's, the tone and style of Trujillo's bass sharply diverge from Daisley's. - Try listening in quick succession to the first 15 seconds of "Crazy Train" (since the track opens with drums and bass) in their respective versions... you will find a glaring disparity.

I hadn't seen... The Spirit preceded me on the discussion regarding the latest reprints!

"Recommended is the reprint on CD with the addition of the Bonus Track"... BUT ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! In fact, if there's a version to absolutely avoid, it's this last one on the market (where Ozzy's wife/manager, with flimsy excuses, had the bass and drum parts re-recorded from the 2002 lineup in order to avoid paying royalties to Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake). I strongly advise you to get the reprint from '95 or even better the original pressing because what you’ve listened to and reviewed is akin to a fake. - A 5-star round record (the original, of course!)... regarding the review, I share the opinion expressed by Embryo.
Uriah Heep Return To Fantasy

Great album, in my opinion... unfortunately, it has been seriously underrated and has not enjoyed much success. There are many gems in here (actually, I can’t find a single bad song)... even if the fantasy tones of the previous albums, except for a few tracks, have largely faded. My rating for the album: 4 solid stars! - As for the review: first of all, welcome to DeBaser. The content is not bad (even if I completely disagree with you that the Heep are only those of Byron), but the form is definitely bizarre and convoluted! I'm sure you'll do better next time... my first reviews weren't great either, in fact. Keep it up with the Heep, I recommend!

I reiterate the 5 round stars I gave at the concert in my previous review. A performance that was nothing short of spectacular!

I had never heard of it, so I went to check the "instructions" on YouTube: It's an outrageous Japanese thing, one of those games that would drive me crazy in less than 10 minutes ahahah!
