As usual, the maximum rating is mandatory both for the review and for the reviewed album. Congratulations once again!

In the meantime, considering the similarities in the overall sound, I would recommend "Harbor Lights" by Bruce Hornsby (it's well-reviewed here on DeBaser)... in my opinion, you won't be able to not appreciate tracks like "Rainbow's Cadillac" or "China Doll"!

Finally, I managed to listen to it with calm and attention. Well... what can I say? A great record: a high-quality AOR album that can confidently rival the equally excellent first two Boston albums, as well as the first and fourth from Foreigner (those albums which, personally, I consider cornerstones of the genre). Rating: 4 stars and then some! - I reaffirm the rating from the review...

Damn... I didn't know they were still active, let alone that Midge Ure had returned (along with the rest of the classic lineup). I’m really happy to hear that!

Great review, which definitely piqued my curiosity... I went to listen to something on YouTube and was positively impressed. Honestly, from the description, I thought the sound was similar to that of Prism (you know tracks like "Armageddon" or "Spaceship Superstar"?)... instead, it's completely different. Anyway, not a problem: when I get the chance for a complete and in-depth listen, I'll gladly give it a shot!

What luck, truly! Unfortunately (and incredibly) these events are poorly advertised, or worse, not advertised at all. In the end, one either hears about them by sheer luck, through word of mouth... or misses out. And that is really a shame. - Great review!
Joe Cocker With A Little Help From My Friends
Voto:
Great debut for Cocker: his songs are very good and the covers are wonderful, among which "With A Little Help From My Friends" stands out (not by chance is it a staple in his concert setlists for now forty years and more!). What can we say about "Feelin' Alright" or "Marjorine"? Timeless super classics. It's a pity that he got lost just a few years later, only to (partially) find himself again in the '80s. - Good review, peace for the error in the first line... the rest is just fine. And then the choice you made pays off!
Kansas Point Of Know Return
Voto:
Excellent album, of undeniable depth... I confess that it took me much longer to assimilate it compared to other records by the band. However, once I fully 'understood' it, I would say everything went quite smoothly. The rating oscillates between 4 and 5 stars. Nevertheless, I still prefer, overall, other works by Kansas. - Regarding the review: even though I am not a great admirer of punk, I agree with the points made by Maurinok.
Rush Roll The Bones
Voto:
From my point of view, and as others before me have already noted, the album in question isn't bad... although it's a bit under par compared to the average Rush. The album starts off well, stringing together a series of classy tracks ("Dreamline," "Bravado," and the very same "Roll The Bones") to which the highly esteemed instrumental "Where's My Thing" is added. Unfortunately, the B side loses some momentum. For me, a rating of 3 and a half stars would be right... however, I round up because I find that "Roll The Bones" is, nonetheless, a fairly significant step forward compared to "Presto," indicating a creative resurgence that will materialize with the solid "Counterparts."

There was really a lack of a review of this masterpiece on DeBaser (of which, just a few days ago, I received the vinyl!). What to say? There’s little, if anything, to add to this page: the atmosphere is intimate yet almost unsettling (just look at "(On Tuesdays She Used To Do) Yoga"), it's something sublime. My favorite tracks are the aforementioned "Yoga," the wonderful conclusion of the album "Lost And Found," and the excellent "Crying Wolf" (which seems to partially inherit the rockier edge of the previous "Nadir's Big Chance"... hats off also to that album!). - In conclusion, I take this opportunity to repeat myself: truly an excellent page, it was much needed!
