What a drag.
Heaven & Hell The Devil You Know

Excellent analysis, when it came out two years ago I listened to it with enthusiasm, hoping that the activity of the BS (or H&H) would continue for a few more years. A year ago, however, the great Ronnie left us, and the album has taken on a more "melancholic" connotation for me, seeing it as the last work of this tremendous figure in heavy metal. There are good tracks and less good ones, but it certainly deserves a passing grade from me. These are great musicians.

I really enjoyed the review; the album is monumental, no need to beat around the bush. It has a glacial charm that leaves an indelible mark on the neurons, yet it manages to evoke emotions with every listen. It deserves a place among the fundamental albums of modern music in general, alongside various "Sgt. Pepper's," "In The Court Of Crimson King," "Are you Experienced?", to name just a few.
Hawkwind Doremi Fasol Latido

For me, it is also one of the masterpieces of Hawkwind, alongside In Search Of Space. A journey into the deep and unknown space.
Iron Maiden Iron Maiden

It's understandable that Maiden can be unlikable, and that they might be incredibly overrated, but at least the first three albums maintain a decent level.
Roberto Faenza & Filippo Macelloni Silvio Forever

Great review, I really liked it. Kudos to AJM. I'm definitely not going to see the film, but I agree that it will be interesting to watch it in about twenty years, when our Silvio, now 96, will be devoted only to parties and won't have any "communist" judge daring to investigate him. Also, in my opinion, he will surely be elected to the Papal Throne. The ad personam laws are too little; for him, a personal religion is more fitting (but are we sure it doesn't already exist??).

I still remember when, at 12 years old, I was gifted this video game, which is nothing short of incredible, a true masterpiece for Playstation. The duels, the snow, the story, the voice acting, the soundtrack... there's so much to say...
Iron Maiden Iron Maiden
Voto:
I completely agree with those above me; I also find Dickinson annoying, I much prefer Di Anno. In any case, for me, it’s one of the three best Maiden albums (along with the next two), also because I don’t even listen to any of the others that came after; 2-3 songs were enough for me to hate them :)
Kiss Creatures Of The Night

Great album, the best of the '80s decade. Not a masterpiece, but gritty and punchy just the right amount. Good review.

By the way, just a year before Lick It Up, Creatures Of The Night was released, in my opinion the best work by Kiss in the '80s.
