Great review, welcome! You’ve chosen an excellent album that personally made me discover the "real" Queen at the age of (around) 14 and opened the doors to Rock with a capital R. What can I say, a troubled album, recorded in ’72 after our guys (as you rightly mentioned, they came from various experiences, among which Smile is definitely worth a listen) had painstakingly obtained permission to record at Trident Studios at night, and for which they had to wait many months for its release. I share your description of the tracks, although there’s a lot to say about each one: if I had to mention one particularly close to my heart, it would be "The Night Comes Down," written by Brian, which stands out from the others because it's the demo recorded at De Lane Lea in ’71, extraordinary! There’s much more to say, but you can discover a lot of other information by browsing online (just like I did back in the day)!

American "tamarri," ultimately tiresome, embodying an era where appearance certainly mattered more than musical value. Nice album, but it doesn't go beyond two or three catchy tracks, much less impactful and much more plastic compared to the first two works of the MCs, which I believe are the best (and sufficient) part of their discography.

I don't know where you got this information, but I highly doubt she will leave the direction to her daughter :)

Great analysis, I agree from all points of view. I wouldn't dream of going to see it in the cinema and spending 7 euros either. The only thing that was clarified is that this film was already released directly for the home video circuit, then a mess triggered by Adrien Brody caused its withdrawal and thus its cinema release after about two years. It seems to me that this is further proof of a disaster already announced and now definitively complete. All we can do is remember the genius of Dario by rewatching the already mentioned masterpieces from the seventies. Last thing: they are filming Dracula 3D just 15 km from my house, in Candelo (BI)... I almost feel like going to check if it's really Dario Argento or a body double...

One of the best live performances ever, truly out of this world.

A nice surprise, as well as a meteor of dark progressive based on Hammond and gothic atmospheres. People in Black and October Witches the peaks.

But was the thirteenth review on this thing really necessary, something that any homo sapiens endowed with intellect would never listen to? Oops, I meant homo erectus...

Awesome! A terrifying album... just a step below the masterpiece Maggot Brain.

Sufficient review, it adds nothing and takes nothing away from those already made about this work, the value of which is unquestionable and has already been extensively discussed. The best of Queen? Maybe, Queen II and SHH are on the same level for me.
