But what do you have against me? Don't you like the review or my writing style? Then just don't read my reviews.

what do you mean????

My honesty isn't musical but rather technical and guitar-related, so you could define me as dishonest only in that respect, or more so in my ideas. As for the 110 metronome, I tell you it's not as ridiculous as you want to make it seem because there are people who can manage it. Personally, I can do about twenty notes per second, so it's not something my big brother told me, but rather personal experience. Anyway... I like Petrucci much more, both technically and emotionally. Malmsteen may appeal to you more. Everything's fine.

Anyway, we go too far by stating opinions that are clearly contradictory. I regret to say that I will stick to my view on Petrucci and Malmsteen.

making 13 notes at 110 isn’t difficult.

1) Petrucci uses a Music Man; the Ibanez contract expired in 1999.
2) Technically, Petrucci is superior to Malmsteen. You say he's schematic. Isn't Malmsteen? Take "Far Beyond the Sun." He often reprises the same rhythms and melodic parts. Malmsteen dreams of a song like "Metropolis." Moreover, I don’t think he underperformed at G3. I believe he is one of the most precise guitarists out there today. Try to match his sequences at the same speed and with the same clarity! No one has such an advanced picking technique. Malmsteen can only dream of a technique like that. The Swedish guy's technique is really quite outdated. And do you still believe in Vai? We all know he’s a great liar; for that matter, he said at G3 2005 that Petrucci is a lovely guy when it's obvious he can't stand him given his too "rockstar" attitude. In terms of technique, even Vai dreams of Petrucci's picking, just like Petrucci dreams of Vai's legato and whammy bar tricks, but neither of them wants to match the Swedish guy because they've surpassed him a long time ago.

There are plenty of guitarists who are at least faster than him. Already by the end of the 80s there was Jason Becker who, while drawing inspiration from the Swede, technically surpassed him by a bit. Vai eats him up, Petrucci eats him up, Michael Romeo eats him up, many others are faster than him. Malmsteen is fast, I repeat, incredibly so when he debuted, but now he impresses much less.

I objected to the "Incredible speed." No one says it's slow; it's fast, but not incredibly so as they claim.

I could also object to the incredible speed... as a guitarist, it doesn't seem that fast to me.

So, mixed, would you say that in classical music only harmonic minor scales are almost always used? It's a bold opinion, don't you think? ...modal modes do exist, used differently from jazz, but they're present in classical music.
