Matrix, what you say is true. For sure. But you see, as a lover of music, I have to be objective and honest in judging something. I write good reviews, beautiful ones, bad ones, or terrible ones, you name it, but while writing them, I must express a judgment on what the artist has done. And if the product doesn’t convince me, that’s indisputable and cannot disregard the author’s intention: let me explain: if he dedicated, for example, a song to his wife and it’s bad, I unfortunately have to judge the music and not the intention... which by the way... he did make a song for his wife (Rubina). I am not taking anything away from Satch... he is absolutely one of my favorites, but to me, the album just doesn’t compare to Strange or Crystal Planet... and I have to say this in my review.

Yes, Petrucci didn’t impress me much on this album...I admit, and yet he is my ultimate guitar hero...merco85, do you see that I still have a bit of objectivity??????? Petrucci is only present in the first track and does nothing but blast notes...so, terrible compositional performance (not technical...)
